Be a socialite for a nightJuly 20th, 2008 @ 2:20 pm
Tonight I’ll be going to my friend’s 21st birthday at a pub called The Oaks. She hired a little function room there so we’ll have our own little space to do whatever. I’ve always driven past it but I’ve never actually walked in there. It’ll be fun going as I haven’t seen some of my friends in quite some time. One of my friends has my chandelier earrings so I have to remind her to give them back to me…. I miss them oh so much. Everyone has to dress up as the theme is “S is for….” I decided to pick… Socialite. My inspiration for my outfit was Paris Hilton so I bought the most tarty pink dress today, and I would like to point out that it’s definitely something I would not wear and I’m not a fan of her. I thought it would be funny to do for a night. If the pictures turn out good, I may post a picture
Tomorrow, next up on my movie viewing is The X-Files: I Want To Believe. No one knows anything about the plot and the stars are keeping it a secret so I’m going in there blind. Mulder and Scully together again! When I watched the TV show when I was younger, my aunt got made that they didn’t hook up so cross my fingers for her that they will.
I’ve been doing some temp work at my mum’s work recently and I can safely say I never want to look at Microsoft Excel and anything to do with spreadsheets ever again. I basically got given work that no one wanted to do. The second day I was doing laminating and I wanted to freakin’ shoot myself. Never again.
My Aaron Eckhart introductory obsession is on an all time high. I watched No Reservations, Thank You For Smoking, and Meet Bill, and I loved those. I just got The Black Dahlia so I’ll be watching that soon. There was no In The Company of Men, because I’ve been reading he’s a total asshole to women in that. Who cares, still hot hehe. Speaking of him, when I called my friend, she was about to go in and see The Dark Knight, I couldn’t help pipe up, “I love Harvey Dent. I just had to say it!”.
Another SNL video in a post? This seems almost mandatory now! I saw this last night on TV — It’s MacGruber working with his son (Shia LaBeouf) but he’s suspecting that his son might be gay. It’s really hilarious stuff
Celebrity · Friends · Life · Tangled work
Sounds like a really fun party! Lmaoo… the last part of the video was so gross! Lmaoo.. so unexpected.
Didn’t expect it either but a great way to end the skit
Hey!
That sounds like such a good party/get together thing. I would looooove to see those pictures
I can’t wait to see that movie. I wasn’t a fan of the X-Flies but that show is pretty much a classic so might as well see the movie hehe.
Hope you’re doing good!
That sounds like such a cool party! I wish I thought of interesting things like that for my birthday parties! The X-Files! I’ve not seen anything to do with that series in ages, I bet the movie will be great though!
Oh wow, I hope you’ve had fun!!! Hehe about the theme! I’d love to see a picture! =)
Hehe, have fun watching the movie!
Sorry to hear about the temporary work… I’ve never really done much with Microsoft Excel… But I should, though… =/
Hehe, I’ve only watched No Reservations, but I loved that movie too.
I loved No Reservations as well <3. It made me want to have an attractive fun loving chef for a husband, LOL.
Hey, sorry it took me so long to add you. Aaron is great in The Dark Knight! I can’t believe how many people have spoken about that film in their blogs this week, it more than meets the hype though.
Yeah, definitely. Everywhere I went lately, that’s all everyone could talk about. It’s a huge world wide phenomenon.
Hope you had fun at the party! What did other people dress as?
Aaron Eckhart is a great actor. Haven’t seen the Dark Knight yet though! Kinda lost interest because of all the hype. :S
Like Dymplez, I did not expect the end of that video lol I love Shia.
People dressed up Satan, Serving wrench, and some people didn’t even try
Aww, fair enough. I have the same thing for TV shows that get too much type. I just can’t watch it.
Hehe yeah, Shia’s awesome
