I saw The Dark Knight last night.
It was…. alright…. very mediocre…. could’ve done a little better….
NOT!
It was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. The whole movie blew my mind, specifically Heath’s performance. He scared me and made me laugh at the same time. I’m trying not to say too much because I have to save it all for my review at Tangled but all of you will not be disappointed! You have to tell me what you think of it when you see it.
Aaron Eckhart is my new celebrity crush of the moment (Who’s Yours?). Another great performance from the movie as Harvey Dent. Because of that, here is an obligatory photo:

I dare you not to have a crush on this man when you walk out of the movie! LOL.
However my evening didn’t end there.
I’m going to try and not go into too much detail because it’s something that still badly resonates with me. On the way home on the bus, my friend and I were sitting there and suddenly I recognized these two girls who got on the bus. Now I stopped being friends with them last year because they caused me emotional pain. It was all very high school mean girls type of situation and I didn’t need it at the age of NINETEEN. I no longer wanted to be treated insignificantly. Anyway, one of the girls sees me, mumbles something to the other girl, like “Jamie’s here on the bus”. Then the other girl says very loudly and sarcastically (for me to hear I’m guessing), “Oh… Hooooraaayy!”.
Very mature and classy.
Now that’s out of the way, I didn’t want to end my entry on a melancholy note so, I was watching SNL this week and they showed Ashton Kutcher’s episode. I love the skit they had called Death By Chocolate, which was Ashton dressed up as a chocolate bar killing people. Then I found out that it was created by Jason Reitman, the director of Juno. No wonder I liked it so much!

I’ve never been a fan of comic books, hence I’ve never really liked the movies based on comic book characters. My husband wants to see this movie, so I’ll probably get dragged off to see it.
Hehe, I’m glad you loved the movie! =)
Sorry to hear about the incident on the bus. I know EXACTLY what you mean, though, by not wanting to be a part of all that, especially when you’re out of high school. I’ve just gone through something like that, with people who’ve JUST graduated from college. Can you believe that?! But yeah, I know what you mean…
College? Wow that’s terrible. It’s quite pathetic that you deal with in your early 20s when it should’ve been all done during high school.
I’m in the same boat as Arwen, never really been a fan of comic-book-turned-movies. I’m sure I’ll see it eventually. Glad you enjoyed it. I can’t remember what movie I just saw Aaron Eckhart in… It’ll come to me later.
It’s amazing how some people just never lose their attitude, isn’t it? :\
Thank You For Smoking, that’s his ‘famous’ role to date and No Reservations with Catherine Zeta Jones. I will have to rent those movies out sometime.
Yep, they’ll be like that forever lol.
I loved reading your blog. It’s very well written. It’s actually convinced me to see The Dark Knight, now. Before, I was just considering it because it’s Heath Ledger’s last performance, but now because of your blog I’m totally going to see it! Lol… By the way, that SNL bit is so funny. I’ve never seen Ashton Kutcher like that- he looked kind of creepy… lol.
Thank you so much

I’m glad that I’ve had some influence over your movie choices
Ashton looked like a creepy mime. It’s the best thing I’ve seen him in haha.
Ahhh, The Dark Knight!!! I cannot, CANNOT WAIT to see it
I am soooo in love with Christian Bale! HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT BATMAN!!! WOO HOO! Lol! Sorry about that ::drops head:: I heard everyone did a wonderful job on their performances and I am just dying to see it. I know it will not be dissapointing.
Wow, some people just never grow up huh? Those two girls will realize one day how bad they hurt you when it bites them in the butt and happens to them (what goes around comes around).
I did not see that SNL episode! I am glad you posted that on your site though. That is too funny!
Take care
Christian Bale is quite hot and I’m sure you’ll be hyperventilating during the movie
I’m afraid they’ll never grow up. But karma, baby.
I love that skit soo much. I still can’t stop watching it lol.
Stupid computer, was trying to finish typing in my information and it posted. ::kicks computer::
Glad to hear you had a good time. I can’t wait to see that movie!
OMG! OMG! OMG!!!!!
I’m dying to see this movie!!!!! I cannot wait! Of course, for me the main attraction will be Heath’s performance, I heard it was pretty much the best one of his career. He was just such a great actor.
Hope you’re doing good! <3
Aww man! I want to see Batman. I bet it was awesome! I know its going to be really sad to watch though wasn’t it?
I wasn’t sad until the end where they dedicate the movie to him
